Abot me

Well, I'm going to write about me today, the writer of this blog.

I was a kid who loved to draw, read and exercise.

I didn't like to be around other people, and I always chose to spend time alone.

I was a somewhat mature child and conversed with adults on an equal footing.

I spent my youth with a sense of emptiness in my heart.

Then one day, I encountered Kabuki in a music class, and I was so shocked that a bolt of lightning went through my body.

From that point on, I researched and researched kabuki like a fish out of water, and I was hooked.

Through correspondence, I met friends who loved kabuki, and through fan letters I received replies from artists of picture books based on kabuki.

Then, when I became a high school student, I came across another Japanese cultural phenomenon, the visual-kei band.

One of the Kabuki actors was a big fan of visual bands, and when I listened to the music of the band he recommended, it was so good that I was hooked.

From Kabuki came the birth of the band chase!

It was not unusual for us to watch Kabuki at lunchtime and then have a live performance in the evening.

It was not unusual for me to watch Kabuki at noon and live performances at night. I was so interested in the "wig" (wig) in Kabuki because it was so beautiful.

I wanted to be a wig maker.

Then, lo and behold! That dream has come true.

I have been working in this field for 10 years.

After I finished that job, I got another job making school bags, which is a kind of culture unique to Japan.

In the midst of a dizzying amount of work, I was constantly stepping on three sewing machines to make school bags of various colors.

It was an exciting time, but at the same time I was very tired.

After that, I made use of my hobby of training and worked at a fitness gym, but I didn't get any luck and left soon after.

I have experienced so many different things.

Japan is a country that places a lot of importance on harmony among people.

I often find it a bit difficult to stick to my personal opinions and to present them.

Especially for women.

In reality, it is difficult for a person like me, who has a clear opinion and a unique personality, to live in an organization.

I believe that we can see deeper things when we clash our opinions with each other, but it seems that this is a minority.

I have a dream that I have had for several years.

I have been dreaming for a few years now that I would like to do a demonstration overseas to show people the beauty of wigs and how they can be worn in various hairstyles.

I love Italy, so with the help of my Italian friends, I tried to get such an opportunity and got my passport.

However, things are not that easy.

The coronavirus had just broken out, and all plans were scrapped.

I dream that one day, when I don't have to be afraid of the coronavirus anymore, my hopes will come true.

My life will be bumpy and uneven, but I hope to make the most of it by properly enjoying the beautiful scenery and people everywhere I go.

See you soon!

  1. It seems that you are a woman with a very strong character and I am sure that your dreams will come true sooner or later, in my opinion the secret is to be positive and never give up.
I don't know many people of Japanese origin but I have noticed one thing, people who have had continuous contact with Western people tend to be more open, more socially inclined to confront and exchange ideas, and you, it seems to me, are one of these people .
Do not worry, sooner or later the discomfort caused by the covid will cease and everything will return to normal, I look forward to that moment, to be able to return to travel as I did before.
    Good luck!!!!

    1. As you say, I am in good shape. We are looking for a wonderful opportunity to do what we can without giving up and without being humbled. I will do my best.
