アイドル!
Do you like idols?
Nowadays, a lot of young girls are playing the center part (flowery position) according to their popularity.
My friend who used to be in a visual band with me recommended me to listen to Nogizaka46, and I started to think that idols are great.
Do you think there is anything like Japanese idols overseas?
These girls are the embodiment of men's ideals, with their cuteness on full display.
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that anime characters have slipped into reality.
Their smiles are the result of their efforts.
For a blunt person like me, the fact that they smile all the time, even when they are going through a lot of pain, is enough to make me want to applaud them.
Each person has their own individuality, and it is desirable to make the best use of them in life, but idols are visibly ranked by their popularity.
The girls at the top of the rankings are happy, but they always feel a sense of frustration that they might be overtaken, and the girls who don't rise in the rankings feel less positive.
When you think about it, the idols of the Showa era may have been good.
I also love the songs of the Showa era.
In the Showa era, idols mainly sang and danced alone, creating a world of their own.
Akina Nakamori(中森明菜), Seiko Matsuda(松田聖子), Momoe Yamaguchi,(山口百恵) and so on.
Among them, Momoe Yamaguchi is my very favorite idol.
Her songs have various hints of darkness, and there is something about them that doesn't tell the whole story, but lets the listener imagine.
I sing her songs all the time at karaoke, and I'm sure I'm flattered, but I get compliments on them.
The culture of idols, which continues to this day, shows how much Japan has changed over the years.
I encourage everyone to compare and contrast the idols of the past with the idols of today.
Hi Akane, another interesting post, I think the Idol phenomenon and culture is purely Japanese, but I know that many people abroad follow this type of culture with devotion and interest. I personally do not follow, I am a person who likes music between the 60s and 80s but I do not disdain even some contemporary artists, even if perhaps the Idols phenomenon goes beyond simple music.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to another post from you :)))
Idols embody Japanese culture, don't they? very interesting! Old songs have a lot of atmosphere, melodies, lyrics, etc. that can't be made now. Of course, there are many new and wonderful ones. I will write a lot of articles. Please read by all means!
